Warner wanted to play the last Test in Sydney. Cricket Australia fulfilled his hope. And Warner finished the team winning on Saturday. They needed 130 runs in the last inning to win. Warner scored 57 runs. If Sajid Khan's ball was not LBW, the Australian opener could have left the field after winning the match.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 313 runs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 88 runs. Aamer Jamal played an important 82-run inning. Pat Cummins took five wickets in that innings. In reply, Australia were bowled out for 299 runs. Marnus Labuschagne scored 60 runs. Mitchell Marsh scored 54 runs. Jamal took six wickets with the ball. Relying on his all-round performance, Pakistan was showing dominance in Sydney.

The fight didn't last long, though. Pakistan's batting collapsed in the second inning. Four batters were dismissed for zero runs. Opener Saim Ayub's innings of 33 runs were the highest. In this inning, Josh Hazlewood ran the pace roller on Pakistan's batting. Pakistan were bowled out for 115 runs. Australia has a target of 130 runs to win.

Australia did not have any problem scoring that run. Warner scored 57 runs. His partner was Labuschagne. He scored 62 runs off 73 balls. Warner was out, but Labuschagne was unbeaten. When Warner got out, the whole Sydney stood up and applauded. Steve Smith hugged Warner before coming to the field. Smith and Labuschagne did the last thing to win the test.

After Perth and Melbourne, Australia also defeated Pakistan in Sydney. India won the Test series 3-0.
