Telangana ranks first in the country in the recovery of stolen/lost mobile devices, as per consolidated data of the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal till August, an official release stated on Tuesday.With 5,038 mobile devices recovered and a recovery rate of 67.98 per cent, Telangana stands first in the list of recovery of lost and stolen mobile devices using CEIR portal, followed by Karnataka (54.20 per cent) and Andhra Pradesh (50.90 per cent).
An official statement revealed on Tuesday that Telangana tops the country in the recovery of lost or stolen mobile devices, according on data from the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal that has been aggregated through the month of August.

With 5,038 returned devices and a recovery rate of 67.98%, Telangana is ranked first among the states that have successfully recovered lost or stolen mobile devices using the CEIR portal. Andhra Pradesh comes third with 50.90%, followed by Karnataka at 54.20%.

According to DGP Anjani Kumar, Telangana is #1 in the nation in terms of recovering lost or stolen mobile devices through the CEIR portal (67.38%), followed by Karnataka (54.20%) and Andhra Pradesh (50.90%) in that order.

In accordance with a statement from the DGP's office, "5038 lost or stolen mobile devices were recovered in 110 days, of which the last 1000 devices were recovered in 16 days and handed over to complainants."
