Shah will visit Kolkata on Christmas night with several programmes

On Christmas, activity in the Bengal BJP is at its peak. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Kolkata on Christmas night. He will meet with the top leadership. With his surprise visit, Bengal politics has started a strong practice. Amit Shah held a meeting in Dharmatala recently. He attacked TMC for corruption. Does his new arrival in Bengal mean that the state leadership has set a 'target' for the Lok Sabha? The question arises.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will land at Kolkata airport at 11.45 p.m. on Monday. State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, and state BJP leaders are expected to welcome him at the airport. From the airport, Amit Shah will go directly to the hotel in New Town. Stay there for the night. On Tuesday morning, he will go to Gurdwara Sikh Sang. From there he will go to the Kalighat temple. This will be followed by a meeting at the hotel. After talks with the state leadership, he will go straight to the National Library from the hotel at 3 p.m. A meeting of BJP district-level leaders is scheduled to be held there. Another meeting will be held at the hotel after that. According to BJP sources, Shah is likely to meet the state BJP core committee in the evening meeting. Shah is expected to leave Kolkata around 6.15 p.m.

Assembly elections in five states in November resulted in a major success for the BJP in northern India. After this, the central leaders in charge of Bengal held a meeting with the state BJP leadership, after this Shah is coming to Calcutta.  

After the end of the winter session of Parliament, central leaders met with all state presidents, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to BJP sources, the blueprint for the Lok Sabha elections has been prepared at the national level. Shah is likely to come to the state and discuss it. Earlier, Amit Shah had set a target of winning 35 seats in Bengal from here. Shah is likely to discuss with state leaders the best way to fight this time.

On Sunday, a Gita recitation programme was organized at the Brigade. Shah was scheduled to arrive on the night of the Gita recitation ceremony. But it was changed to December 25. However, Amit Shah's visit to Kolkata a day after the Gita recitation ceremony, offering prayers at Kalighat, and meeting with party workers are considered significant.
