Mandi MP Talks about her decision to enter politics

Kangana Ranaut won the Lok Sabha election 2024 from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh. She won Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 74,755 votes against her Congress rival, Vikramaditya Singh. The 37-year-old star has been the topic of discussion on the interview lately. The politician compared her Bollywood and political life labelling the former as easier.

During the interview Kangana Ranaut said that the work in the film industry is comparatively easier than politics. it takes a lot of effort. My great-grandfather was an MLA for at least three terms. So when you belong to such family. The Local leaders approach you, the only troubled people come to see you in the arena of politics. 

Kangana Ranaut said that her entry into politics was the direct result of the 2020 incident. When Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of her Mumbai home. that incident was how many people supported me in Maharashtra, and to what extent India supported me. and also added that Everybody knows Shiv Sena incident. There is a certain fan following of that incident, she added.

As for her upcoming film Emergency, the film’s release date is yet to be announced. Earlier the film was scheduled to be released in theatres on June 14 2024, In 'Emergency' film Kangana will be seen portraying the character of the former prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
