A significant shift in Chhattisgarh's political landscape! In a supplemental chargesheet submitted on January 1, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has named former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. A chargesheet has been filed regarding allegations of accepting bribes from the Mahadev app promoters totaling approximately Rs 508 crore.

According to the ED chargesheet, Mahadev App promoter and accused Shubham Soni has unearthed explosive information during the investigation. "The chargesheet includes the names of several others, including Shubham Soni, Anil Kumar Agarwal alias Atul Agarwal, Rohit Gulati, Bhim Singh Jaanav and Ashimm Das.

It may be recalled that on January 1 this year, a supplementary chargesheet was filed in the 'special' court for the PMLA case.

According to the ED statement, the promoters of the Mahadev app allegedly transferred the cash to a politician from the state. Accused Ashim Das, meanwhile, admitted that he was tasked by Shubham Soni to distribute cash to Bhupesh Baghel.
