Congress will remove Baghel from leadership: Himanta

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, questioned the Congress about the significance of discussing Mr. Muhammad Akbar after travelling to Chhattisgarh to campaign for the assembly elections.

Dr. Sharma, the chief minister of Assam, said to the media, "I  criticise the Congress leaders in my address. I have also made a number of remarks criticising Bhupesh Baghel. However, the Congress hasn't voiced any complaints against us even then. But why do I suddenly become the subject of a complaint as soon as I bring up Mohammed Akbar? Is the Congress so fond of Muhammad Akbar? About this, I would speak with Bhupesh Baghel. This statement from the Congress surprises me”.

It should be mentioned that Sarma received a show-cause notice from the Election Commission on October 26 in relation to his remarks made during the Chhattisgarh election campaign in Kawardha.

In addition, Sarma attacked the Congress, alleging that it is attempting to unseat Bhupesh Baghel from the position of leadership. "Bhupesh Baghel's Congress government has a history of total failure. In every way, the government has had an impact. The people have been deprived by the Baghel government”.

Speaking to the media, Sarma claimed that Baghel will lose his position as chief minister, and he is claiming that because of his 22 years as a member of Congress, he gained access to the party's confidential information.
