Maratha protesters sloganeering outside Matoshree

A group of Maratha protestors, led by Ramesh Kere Patil, gathered outside former Uddhav Thackeray's residence in Matoshree, demanding his position on the Maratha reservation. Starting August 7, Manoj Jarange will hold rallies in Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Satara, Pune, Ahmednagar, and Nashik.

The issue of Maratha agitation is getting heated day by day across the state. Maratha protestors had previously protested in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to meet Sharad Pawar, and now activists have marched directly to Matoshree to question Thackeray. Hundreds of policemen stopped them from entering Kala Nagar.

Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Ambadas Danve met the protesters and discussed the matter with them. He stated that the party has already supported the Maratha reservation, and now it is the responsibility of the state government. A four-member delegation led by Ramesh Kere Patil will meet with Thackeray, and everyone is paying attention to what will be discussed.

Manoj Jarange Patil argued that the people who went to Matoshree bungalow were not related to the Maratha reservation but are the men sent by Praveen Darekar, who took betel nuts of Devendra Fadnavis and government will have to bear the consequences.
