Chandrababu Naidu has urged the Election Commission to intervene immediately to address the situation. Naidu accused the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of escalating political violence while the state is in the midst of elections.

Naidu criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly promoting violence, suggesting that Reddy fears losing power as the elections draw near. He condemned the violence and called for impartial action from the police against those responsible. Naidu cited specific incidents of violence, including the brutal killing of individuals such as Mr. Mulaiah of Gadikota and Mr. Imam Hussain of Chagalamarri.

Expressing solidarity with the victims' families, Naidu also accused certain Superintendents of Police (SPs) of showing partiality towards the ruling party. He named SPs from districts like Prakasam, Nandyal, and Palnadu, alleging that they are favoring the YSRCP and allowing their supporters to engage in violence without consequences.

Naidu's concerns come amidst simultaneous elections for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha seats scheduled for May 13. He called for urgent action to address the escalating violence and ensure a fair and peaceful electoral process.
