Book Review: 12th Fail - Haara wahi jo lada nahi!

12th Fail is a story that tells how he struggled in his earlier life and then prepared for civil services, rewriting his destiny and igniting hope for a brighter future.

Plot

The story is of a village boy Manoj who burdened by failure ,finds salvation in education, guided by a resolute teacher and fueled by unwavering dreams. He defies all societal shackles and economic hardships.

This story tells how he struggled in his earlier life and then prepared for civil services, rewriting his destiny and igniting hope for a brighter future.

Characterization

Manoj’s character embodies the struggles of an underprivileged student facing academic challenges and societal pressures which remind us that success often comes with challenges and internal battles, readers witness his transformation throughout the story.

Shraddha’s character acts as a beacon of hope and support for Manoj, showcasing the power of a strong female figure in shaping a young man’s life. Her dedication to education and social upliftment adds depth and inspiration to the story.

Apart from the main characters all the other characters do not develop much but they do add depth, emotion and relatability to the overall narrative.

Writing

The story unfolds at a natural pace, creating a sense of anticipation and keeping readers invested in Manoj’s journey but it lacks a proper detailed description of events.

Author uses simple yet powerful language to evoke emotion. Too much focus has been paid on Manoj’s love life ,which might slow down the pace of story at some places.

Climax

Ending of this book was a test not just of academic knowledge but also of Manoj’s emotional resilience and dedication but what happens in the last few pages leaves a lasting impression on the reader.

My final verdict

This book is not about how to clear UPSC, rather its about how to overcome the hurdles in life and keep fighting with the situation. It is a short read but inspirational and enjoyable.

This book is based on real life with very minimal alteration of the happenings, it gives few good tips and methods to cope up with situation and majorly a good demonstration of never give up attitude.

From my point of view ,I would recommend each and every one to read this real life based book once.
