Paris Olympics: India directly qualify for quarter-finals

India opened its account at the Paris Olympics. Three Indian girls did not disappoint in the first event of the Paris Olympics. Tomorrow is the opening of the Paris Olympics. Before that, there was interest in archery as the first event in India. Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, and Bhajan Kaur performed well. South Korea, China, and Mexico have qualified for the last eight events of the event. India also reached the quarterfinals.

Ankita Bhakat overcame the most experienced Deepika Kumari in the women's archery ranking. The women's archers of the country finished fourth in the team standings, mainly due to Ankita Bhakkat’s season-best performance. At the same time, they directly qualified for the quarterfinals. Ankita finished 11th in the individual anking event, her season best. Out of a maximum of 720 points, Ankita has scored 666.

Deepika Kumari, who is making her Olympic debut for the fourth time, finished 23rd with 658 points, while Bhajan Kaur of Haryana, another member of the Indian contingent, finished 22nd with 659 points. China and Mexico.

Korea finished top in the banking category with 2046 points, followed by China with 1996 points, and Mexico finishing third with three points more than India. Sihion Lim set a world record in ranking with 694 points. The Korean archers created a new Games record by breaking the record of their last Olympics in terms of team points.

In the team event, Indian women archers will have to compete against either France or the Netherlands. If India wins the quarterfinals, they will face favorites Korea in the last four. The team event will be organized on July 28.
