Taste Atlas revealed the top 100 dishes globally, with three Indian dishes making the list. Murgh Makhani, commonly referred to as Butter Chicken, placed a notch higher at 29th. Hyderabadi Biryani followed, clinching the 31st position on the list.

Taste Atlas, a global guide to local cuisines, is an experiential online resource for traditional dishes that gathers genuine recipes, critiques from food experts, and scholarly articles on favourite ingredients and meals. It will list out yearly, the rankings of the popular dishes worldwide.

The Hyderabadi Biryani, a culinary masterpiece and gastronomic delight originating from the Nizam-ul-Mulk’s kitchens, continues to be a classic beloved dish. This style of biryani is made with Basmati rice and succulent meat. It showcases a harmonious combination of Hyderabadi and Mughlai culinary traditions.

The country’s two most renowned non-vegetarian dishes—Chicken 65 and Keema—also appeared on the esteemed list.
