New Date Announced for the NEET PG 2024 Exam

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NCS) has finally announced the dates for the All India Medical Entrance Test (NEET-PG) for the postgraduate level. The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on Friday announced that the exam will be held on August 11. . At the same time, it has been informed that this test will be taken in two shifts.

The NEET-PG exam was scheduled to be held on June 23. The Centre had decided to postpone the postgraduate level entrance exam just hours before the start of the exam due to the controversy over the NEET UG question paper leak. The government announced that questions are being raised about multiple examination procedures under the NTA. Therefore, NEET PG is being deferred as a precautionary measure. On June 22, at 10 p.m., the Union Education Ministry issued a notification stating that the entire examination system will be thoroughly reviewed and the date of the examination will be announced later. Not only that, but plans are being made to finalise the question papers just two hours before the start of the examination to prevent question leaks. Finally, the NBEMS announced the date of the examination. However, the examiner did not clarify whether the final question paper would be prepared two hours before the start of the examination.

The entire country is already in a state of uproar over the issue of question leakage in the NET UG exam. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan himself admitted that the NET question papers were leaked on the dark web. This question leak first came to light in Bihar. After that, the result of the examination was published, and it was seen that 67 people stood first in the examination. Not only that, some candidates are given extra marks. The CBI started the investigation when the controversy reached its peak. Besides Bihar, several other states have already been implicated in this incident. Tests with question gaps
