    • Over the northeast Arabian Sea, near Saurashtra and Kutch, leading to widespread rainfall in coastal areas.

    • In the northwest Bay of Bengal, affecting northwest, central, and east India.

    • In northeast Assam, causing thunderstorms and heavy rainfall in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and other northeastern states.

Localized Heavy Rainfall and Impact

  • Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, and Gujarat: Widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning.

  • Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh: Isolated to very heavy rainfall from June 30 to July 3.

  • Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh: Isolated to heavy rainfall during June 29-July 3.
