Superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan had a blockbuster second weekend, where it crosses the Rs 100-crore mark. Jawan has become a mass-actioner with even crossing Rs 400 crore and nearing 500 mark at the box office. With the second Sunday collection, the 11-day total of the SRK-starrer including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu stands at Rs 477.28 crore.

The Atlee directed Jawan has scored $104 million overseas. SRK has been breaking records by becoming the first and only Indian artist to score two $100+ million grossers in a single year.

Jawan eyeing to break Pathaan records

When Pathaan released, Shah Rukh Khan broke his long fast and made a comeback on the silver screen. The public went gaga to see SRK magic back in theatres. After its release, Pathaan became the highest grossing Bollywood film with Rs 524 crore in Hindi and Rs 543 crore in all Indian versions. However, Pathaan may not enjoy the spot for long, as trade experts believe that Jawan will touch Rs 600 crore soon.

Not only on a national level, even the worldwide record of Pathaan will be broken by Jawan as the film has already touched Rs 860 crore globally.

Jawan also starring leading lady of the South Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Deepika Padukone, released on September 7. The film is built on a social narrative and picks socio-economic issues like farmers plight, corruption in government sector. After Jawan, SRK will be next seen in Dunki, scheduled for a Christmas release.
