T20 World Cup Champions: Following Monday's Category-4 hurricane Beryl's impact on the Caribbean islands, the Rohit Sharma-led team, support personnel, and a few BCCI officials are stuck in the island nation. Champions of the T20 World Cup: The Indian cricket squad, which consists of players like Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rohit Sharma, is expected to arrive in India on July 4 following the disruption caused by Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean. A chartered flight, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is scheduled to return to Delhi on July 4 at approximately 4 a.m., according to media reports.

Hurricane Beryl has left the Rohit Sharma-led team, support personnel, a few BCCI officials, and the players' families stuck in the island nation. In the final, the Indian side defeated South Africa by seven runs, and on Saturday in Barbados, they emerged victorious in the T20 World Cup. The Caribbean Island of Carriacou was struck by Hurricane Beryl on Monday, the first time such a severe storm has ever occurred in the Atlantic. Hurricane Beryl was a deadly storm with unprecedented strength. Driven by unprecedentedly warm waves, it presented noteworthy hazards to the area. After previously slicing through islands in the southeast Caribbean and killing at least six people, the Hurricane blasted into open waters on Tuesday as a strong Category 4 storm headed toward Jamaica.

Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, had earlier on July 2 told PTI, "We hope, and we're working towards later today." We really want to get back to normal operations, and I don't want to talk about it too soon. I've actually spoken with the airport staff, and they're currently finishing up their last checks. On the ground, Mia Mottley has been in charge of relief efforts. She said, "A number of people were scheduled to depart late last night, today, or tomorrow morning." Given our desire to ensure that we can help those individuals, I would anticipate the airport opening in the next six to twelve hours.

After the Men in Blue won the world championship for the first time in 13 years, Indian supporters experienced a bittersweet moment. Virat Kohli was the first to declare his retirement from Twenty20 international cricket. Next was Rohit Sharma, the captain. Even Ravindra Jadeja gave up playing Twenty20 cricket after that. There have been rumors that the team's senior players will now just concentrate on red-ball cricket. Nonetheless, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah promised that "seniors will be there" if India qualified for the World Test Championship and the Champions Trophy in 2025.
