The World Cup 2023's official anthem was unveiled on Wednesday by the International Council (ICC), with play beginning on October 5 in India. Ranveer Singh, the Bollywood actor, plays the major part in the hymn, which is titled "Dil Jashn Bole." One of Bollywood's most desired composers, Pritam, is the one who composed the music for the film. The wife of India's leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, choreographer Dhanashree Verma, is also included in the anthem. The anthem's three minutes and 22 seconds depict a trip through India on the "One Day Express."
Regarding the release of the song, Ranveer Singh said "As a part of the Star Sports family and a die-hard cricket fan, being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is truly an honor. It's a celebration of the sport we all love."
The song, according to its composer Pritam, serves as an invitation to the entire world to join in the celebration of the cricket spectacle. "Cricket is India's greatest passion and composing 'Dil Jashn Bole' for the biggest World Cup ever, has been a tremendous honour for me. This song is not just for 1.4 billion Indian fans but for the whole world to come to India and be a part of the biggest celebration ever," he said.
For the first time in 12 years, India will host the Cricket World Cup, which will be spread across 10 cities. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5, England and New Zealand will play in a rematch of the 2019 World Cup final. India's campaign against Australia will get underway in Chennai. Notably, MS Dhoni guided the team to a historic triumph in Mumbai to win the World Cup the last time it was staged at home.
