Amit Shah lauds security forces for killing 22 Maoists in Chhattisgarh. Not only this, the Union Home Minister made it clear that the Narendra Modi government will move forward with a 'ruthless' attitude against the Maoists who are not surrendering or returning to the mainstream of society. After 375 days (March 31, 2026), there will be no existence of Naxals in India. "Today, our jawans have achieved another major achievement towards a Naxal-free India. Twenty-two Naxals were eliminated in two separate operations by our security forces in Bijapur and Kanker districts of Chhattisgarh."

He added, "The government is moving ahead against Naxals with a ruthless attitude. A zero-tolerance policy is being adopted for Naxals who are not surrendering despite all facilities. India will be Naxal-free before March 31 next year. ’
