YSRCP will hold a peaceful protest in New Delhi on July 24 (Wednesday) to draw the nation's attention towards "the lawlessness and anarchy that have plagued" Andhra Pradesh since the TDP-led NDA came to power. Party President and the former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy invited all the political parties to join the protest being organised by YSRCP in national capital. YSRCP would present the dire situation of the state to the nation amid on-going Parliament Budget session.

The YSRCP President said that Party MPs will speak out in both houses of Parliament about the killings, attacks, and property destruction occurring in the state in the wake of the protest in the National Capital, adding that the goal is to draw national attention to these atrocities. The speech was given during the party parliamentary meeting, which was held in the camp office in Tadepalli on July 20.

President’s Rule must be imposed; YSRCP demand

President's Rule must be imposed due to the state's increasing levels of violence and lawlessness, according to the YSRCP Chief. This will act as a severe warning to those in charge, especially Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The former chief minister said the state government has failed miserably in maintaining law and order and the recent murder in Vinukonda exemplifies the brutality prevailing. This incident was a deliberate attempt to send a message of fear to YSRCP members and supporters. The YSRCP President pointed out that the government, with the help of yellow media, is trying to distort the facts related to the Vinukonda incident and added that the bike burning incident is being falsely linked to the recent murder.

TDP-led govt failed on all fronts: YS Jagan Tweet

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled an all-round attack against the TDP-led NDA government. He alleged that the government failed within 50 days after coming to the power. In a long post shared by YS Jagan on X, he wrote how the government failed on all fronts.

YS Jagan wrote, "In just 50 days, this government has failed on all fronts. Law and order has collapsed, causing public fear. They couldn't even present a full budget, relying on a vote-on-account for 7 months, exposing their inability to fulfil promises. Chandrababu Naidu's government, fearing questions, creates chaos to divert attention, using violence to suppress opposition. In the current assembly, there are only two sides: the ruling party and the opposition."

Recognise YSRCP as Opposition party: YS Jagan

YS Jagan demanded that the YSR Congress Party should be recognised as the Opposition. "Our party should be recognized as the opposition, but the government fears this. Recognizing us means giving us the right to speak in the assembly, which they want to avoid. Despite 50 days in power, Chandrababu Naidu governs in fear. His attempts to murder democracy reminds us of Shishupala’s sins, indicating that his day of reckoning is near. I along with our party's MLAs, MLCs, and leaders am heading to Delhi on the 24th to protest and highlight the State's misrule, political murders, and violence. We will advocate for President's rule in Andhra Pradesh and continue our fight along with allied parties," Jagan wrote.
