Anand Bose said that his security is being hampered due to the policemen. In an interview with PTI, he spoke about his insecurity. The governor said his personal secretary had been threatened by the officer-in-charge of Raj Bhavan security and his associates.

The governor alleged that the police personnel deployed were influenced by outsiders, and they are trying to interfere in various matters of the Raj Bhavan.

C.V. Anand Bose said, "Police officials stationed at the Raj Bhavan are constantly monitoring my movements. Besides, several officials working here are also being monitored. This is not possible without the support of West Bengal's ruling party. It is tantamount to violating the Constitution."

He alleged that no action was taken even after giving this information repeatedly to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

CV Anand Bose said, "I have come to know from various sources that the police personnel deployed here are working against the Raj Bhavan. I have even verified the truth of the matter myself." He said that the police officers who were posted in Nabanna have been deployed in Raj Bhavan. Although the governor did not want to make their names public,.

In November 2023, West Bengal Governor C.V. Anand Bose brought allegations of espionage to the Raj Bhavan. After that, he banned Kolkata Police personnel from entering the Raj Bhavan except on the ground floor. The governor claimed that predecessor Jagdeep Dhankar had barred Kolkata Police personnel from entering the Raj Bhavan.

Bose said, "My predecessor and present vice president of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, and I allowed Kolkata Police presence in some areas of the Raj Bhavan near the gates and only up to the ground floor." But I noticed the unauthorized presence of policemen near the elevator to spy on my visitors. They were caught red-handed and told to leave. They were also seen reporting to the officer-in-charge of the Raj Bhavan and to outsiders.

He said that this surveillance event was unlawful. He added that if the police personnel deployed at Raj Bhavan are engaging in illegal activity, Mamata Banerjee, the home minister, and the West Bengal Chief Minister ought to be held accountable.
