Union Minister H.D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said that he will try to bring Tesla in Karnataka. The JDS chief H.D Kumaraswamy has been appointed as the Union Minister of Steel, in addition to his portfolio of Minister of Heavy Industries in the third term of Modi-led NDA government.

Speaking with Reporter in Delhi, H.D Kumaraswamy said that We try to bring Tesla,  My concern is not only limited to Karnataka. The entire country’s growth is important. We will work accordingly. We will work sincerely for the country’s growth.

Earlier last week, Tesla CEO  Elon Musk had congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi victory in the world’s largest democratic election and said he was looking forward to his companies doing exciting work in India. The H.D Kumaraswamy took oath as a Cabinet Minister despite his party winning only two Lok Sabha seats. JDS had contested the elections in alliance with the BJP. The parties won the 19 of Karnataka’s 28 constituencies even though the Congress is in power in the state.

H.D Kumaraswamy said during the election campaign that he would start the Mekedatu project to resolve the Cauvery water dispute. Mandya is a Key constituency in Karnataka’s  major agricultural heartland, the people of Mandya have many expectations from Union Minister.
