Prime Minister Narendra Modi is campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections after Republic Day. BJP sources claim that if all goes well, he will start campaigning in the capital on January 29. This will be his first campaign rally in the capital after the announcement of the election.

According to sources, PM Modi is expected to attend three rallies, while Adityanath is scheduled to speak at around 15 public meetings across the city. PM Modi would attend BJP rallies on January 29, 31, and February 2.

Before the announcement of elections in Delhi this month, Modi was seen campaigning from the stage, announcing several government schemes. But after the announcement of the elections, no top BJP leader of Modi or Amit Shah's level has yet to campaign in that sense. Delhi goes to polls on February 5. In the last week of campaigning, the BJP central leadership is trying to field Modi in an all-out way.

Like Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the BJP is using the PM's face to win the elections in Delhi too. Every leader and worker of the party knows the importance of winning Delhi. It is a fight between the BJP and the AAP. The Prime Minister will hold two to three public meetings after January 27 across Delhi to expose Kejriwal's real face. According to BJP sources, the aim is to reach out to voters in 70 assembly constituencies by holding at least 15 public meetings. For the BJP, Delhi is a battle of prestige. Despite winning the Lok Sabha three times in a row, the BJP has yet to win in Delhi.

Voting for the Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5. Results will be declared on 8th February. The term of the 70-member Delhi Assembly ends on February 23. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that the counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 8. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has already announced the names of candidates for all the seats. The Congress has announced candidates for 48 seats. The BJP has announced candidates for 29 seats.
