Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit North Bengal this week for an election campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold his first rally in Coochbehar after the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. If all goes well, the meeting could take place on 4th April. The meeting will be held at Rashmela Maidan in Behar.

He will visit West Bengal again on April 7, i.e., next Sunday, but this time he will go to Jalpaiguri. Many areas, including Jalpaiguri and Maynaguri, were affected by the storm on Sunday. Five people have already been killed and more than 150 injured in Sunday's storm in Jalpaiguri. According to party sources, the Prime Minister will first go to Balurghat on Sunday for the second phase of the elections, and then he will go to Jalpaiguri. He will go there and hold a campaign rally. Modi was scheduled to address the district and Alipurduar at the rally.

It has been learned that there is some change in the Prime Minister's programme in the emerging situation. He will go straight to Jalpaiguri at 3.30 p.m. on April 7. Modi can also meet the injured there. Later, he may also hold a meeting with local leaders in this regard. That is, the meeting that was supposed to be held in Balurghat has been canceled for the time being. However, the party sources have not yet informed whether the Balurghat meeting will be held later or earlier, or even when it will be held.

Prime Minister is expected to address more than 30 rallies in the West Benal during the entire poll period.
