Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) performance in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, particularly in the southern states. In an exclusive interview with Amish Devgan of News18 UP, PM Modi asserted that the BJP is poised to sweep the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Dismissing the notion that BJP dominates only in Hindi-speaking states, PM Modi emphasized the party's nationwide presence, citing examples from states like Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, West Bengal, and Karnataka. He predicted a decisive victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), surpassing the 400-seat mark.

PM Modi highlighted the upcoming elections in southern India, stating that the region will witness a significant shift in political landscape. He anticipated historic transformations in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, with substantial gains for the BJP and NDA.

Specifically addressing Telangana, PM Modi expressed confidence in the NDA's ability to secure a clean sweep, even in states with ongoing Assembly Elections. He reiterated the BJP's determination to form governments in these states.

When questioned about the evolving election narrative, PM Modi emphasized the singular focus on his government's reelection, encapsulated in the slogans "phir ek baar Modi sarkaar" (Modi government once more) and seats more than 400
