Expelled Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra is illegally monitoring her ex-boyfriend. Explosive allegations were made against the Trinamool leader after she was suspended from the Lok Sabha. Supreme Court lawyer Joy Anant Dehdari alleged that Mahua is monitoring him by using the officials of the Bengal Police.

Her ex-boyfriend Joy Anant Dehadrai has filed a written complaint with the CBI. Jai also made the same complaint to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He also demanded an inquiry against Mahua.

Jai Anant also submitted the screenshots of those WhatsApp chats to the CBI. He alleged that Mahua had misused his power and carried out surveillance through the West Bengal Police. He fears that his phone is also being hacked or monitored. Jai Anant Dehadrai even expressed fear that his car was being followed.

Jai also alleged that his phone number was being monitored. His location is also being investigated. He filed a written complaint in this regard. He is also collecting call records of the person he is talking to. Dehadrai claimed that the expelled MP was doing this work with the help of senior officials of the West Bengal Police. He also demanded an inquiry.  .

Mahua Moitra's ex-boyfriend also claimed, ''Earlier, Mahua had confessed that she had an ex-boyfriend named Suhan Mukherjee. The one she was monitoring. Because he suspected that Suhan was secretly having an affair with a German woman, he claimed, she did it in 2019. Even at that time, she used to do this work with the help of Bengal police officers.

The controversy over Mahua began in October of last year. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused the Krishnanagar MP of asking "questions in exchange for money." Moitra's former boyfriend and lawyer, Jai Anant Dehadrai, had written to Dubey, the BJP MP from Godda. Dehadrai also gave some documents to Dubey in support of the complaint. Dubey then filed a complaint against Moitra with the documents with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Following this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ordered an inquiry by the Ethics Committee into the allegations against Moitra.

Nishikant and Dehadrai alleged that Moitra asked questions in Parliament linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Indian industrialist Gautam Adani in exchange for Rs 2 crore in cash and expensive gifts from Dubai-based industrialist Darshan Hiranandani. Separately, Dehadrai has filed a complaint against Moitra with the CBI.

After investigation, the Ethics Committee had first called a meeting on November 7 to take a decision on Moitra. But the meeting was postponed to the 9th. The committee had recommended Mahua's disqualification by a 6:4 vote. It also recommended a CBI-ED probe against Moitra. The Ethics Committee tabled its report in the Lok Sabha on Friday, December 8. The report recommended that Moitra be expelled from the Lok Sabha.  Later, the Speaker approved the recommendation to expel Moitra from the Lok Sabha.
