Union Home Minister attacked Kejriwal after the Prime Minister! Politics of the capital in turmoil before the assembly elections over the 'Seesh Mahal' issue. Union Home Minister Amit Shah claims that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has built his glass house (Sheesh Mahal) with the money of common people of Delhi.
Attacking Kejriwal, Amit Shah said, "Several children came to meet me. I asked them what Arvind Kejriwal has done for Delhi! They replied that Kejriwal has built a big glass house (Sheesh Mahal) for himself."
Taking a dig at the AAP convenor without naming him, Union Home Minister further said, "After entering politics, he said not to use government houses and government vehicles. But now he has built a Sheesh Mahal for himself with the money of Delhiites! Now he will have to account for this behaviour to the people of Delhi."
The Union Home Minister on Saturday inaugurated a hostel (Sushma Bhavan) for working women named after late former Delhi Chief Minister Sushma Swaraj. Union Home Minister attacked Arvind Kejriwal from the event. He said, "Kejriwal bought the land with 45 crores of money from the people of Delhi and built a mahal for himself."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the AAP convener at a function at Delhi University on Friday. Also referring to the Aam Aadmi Party as a 'disaster,' he said, "Delhi has been going through a disaster for the last 10 years. A few corrupt people named Anna Hazareji have pushed Delhi to danger. AAP has come down to Delhi as a 'disaster. So, humans have declared war against this disaster." After that, he said, "I could have built a glass bungalow (Sheesh Mahal) for myself. But my only dream is to get a proper house for my countrymen to live in. They (AAP leaders) do corruption and call it a work of glory."
