Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at Gannavaram near Vijayawada today (June 12). This is his fourth term. NDA partner, Jana Sena Chief Konidela Pawan Kalyan took oath as a Chief Minister. The 25-member Cabinet has three women ministers, 12 members from Other Category, 8 Backward Class, 2 Scheduled Caste, one Scheduled Tribe and one Muslim. In the 175-member Assembly, the cabinet can have 26 ministers, including the chief minister

Chandrababu Naidu had held the Chief Minister post twice in undivided Andhra Pradesh. He was the Chief Minister when United Andhra underwent bifurcation. This will be his second tenure following the carving out of Telangana State.

Star-Studded Swear-In Ceremony:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda & Union Health Minister J P Nadda, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Coals and Mines G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of States Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and several senior BJP leaders, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde are among the guests. Meanwhile, former Vice president M Venkaiah Naidu, Ex Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and superstars Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi were also present AP Governor S Abdul Nazeer administered the oath to the CM and Ministers.

Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in along with 24 ministers, including Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Konidela Pawan Kalyan, and TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh Naidu. Three MLAs from the Jana Sena and one from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have found a place in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet.

The oath-taking ceremony witnessed an adorable moment when PM Modi gave a tight hug to his Chandrababu Naidu, congratulating him for his fourth stint as Andhra Pradesh CM. The duo displayed their bonhomie on the stage as their supporters cheered the moment shared by the two political stalwarts. NDA's TDP is a key constituent in the NDA government at the Centre.
