On Thursday, BSP Supremo Mayawati criticized the opposition bloc, I-N-D-I-A for commenting on parties that are not part of the I-N-D-I-A bloc. While speaking at conference in Lucknow, Mayawati said in the I-N-D-I-A bloc, nobody should give statements about parties that are not part of the alliance, adding that one shouldn't comment on her party too.

Give a sarcastic tone to her remark, the BSP chief said that you never know who will need who in the future. And in such a circumstance, many may feel shameful. She also added, that Samajwadi Party is a living example.

The statement from the former UP CM came after reports of the SP allegedly opposing the induction of Bahujan Samaj Party in the I-N-D-I-A alliance during the bloc's fourth meeting.

BSP's National Coordinator Akash Anand took to X and wrote: "Media reports and some party colleagues have revealed that in yesterday's I-N-D-I-A meeting, some people are less afraid of BJP and more afraid of BSP,"

When asked about the Ram Temple inauguration, the BSP President said that her party believes in respecting all religions and that the party has no objection.

Commenting on the Parliamentary security breach matter, Mayawati said that the matter is of serious concern and added that all sides should give special attention to the security of the Parliament.
