The court has summoned Rahul Gandhi in another case. Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal District Court has directed the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha to appear before it on April 4. A case has also been filed against Rahul Gandhi in a court in Assam's Guwahati under the same section of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita.

Rahul Gandhi has been accused of talking about 'fighting against India'. This is tantamount to sedition. In the Guwahati case, he has been charged with inciting extremists. The case has been filed under non-bailable sections. As a result, if the lower court accepts the case, the Congress leader will be jailed. However, the judge will first settle the dispute of whether the non-bailable clause will be acceptable or not.

Several Hindu organisations have filed a case in the court claiming that the Jama Masjid in western Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal is actually a Harishankar temple. The district town was rocked by communal clashes in January over a legal dispute. Three people died from gunshot wounds. When the situation calmed down, Rahun and Priyanka tried to go to Sambhal but were stopped by the police.

On 15th January, Rahul Gandhi stated, "RSS and BJP have captured all constitutional posts in the country. The Congress believes in a policy battle. Our beginning is not only to fight against the RSS and the BJP but also against the entire state system.

A case has been filed against Rahul Gandhi in Guwahati in Assam. Another case was registered in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal. The case, filed in Guwahati, alleged that what Rahul Gandhi said was tantamount to instigating extremists. The case was filed under non-bailable sections. If the case is accepted, Rahul may have to go back to jail.

According to Congress sources, the number of cases registered against Rahul has increased to 30.

The BJP has been vocal against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress over the cases in Uttar Pradesh and Assam. The BJP has accused Rahul Gandhi of being taught by US billionaire George Soros. People are suing him.
