The Bharatiya Janata Party’s newly elected MLAs in Kerala signaled a combative approach as they assumed their roles following their recent electoral victories. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, V Muraleedharan, and B.B. Gopakumar received an enthusiastic स्वागत from party workers at the BJP state headquarters a day after winning from Nemom, Kazhakoottam, and Chathannoor constituencies.

During the event, the leaders paid homage to the party’s founding figures before addressing supporters. Chandrasekhar expressed confidence in their collective strength, stating that even with just three representatives, they would effectively hold the significantly larger opposition accountable in the legislative assembly. He emphasized their commitment to ensuring transparency and discipline in governance.

Muraleedharan highlighted key issues the party intends to pursue, particularly the Sabarimala gold theft case. He asserted that the matter would be forcefully raised in the assembly and questioned the Congress leadership on its earlier assurances of bringing those responsible to justice.

Gopakumar reinforced the trio’s unified stance, stating that they would represent the voice and policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi within the assembly. Together, the three leaders projected themselves as a vigilant and assertive opposition presence against both the ruling and rival political fronts in the state.
