BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has issued a breach of privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi seeking his suspension. The opposition has also sent a similar notice to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This time it came from the ruling camp.

Nishikant Dubey accuses Rahul Gandhi of sharing a fake video of Amit Shah, which is a serious crime. It is simultaneously a breach of privilege and contempt of Parliament. Rahul should be suspended immediately. According to BJP sources, a similar breach of privilege notice is being served against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in the Rajya Sabha.

 On the other hand, the BJP has also filed an FIR against Rahul Gandhi in connection with the Parliament scuffle. On Thursday morning, Congress and BJP MPs were involved in a scuffle in the Parliament premises. Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks had triggered a heated debate between BJP and Congress MPs. 

At that time, Rahul got involved in a scuffle with BJP MPs. BJP MPs Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput were injured in the protest. The injured MPs are undergoing treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

On behalf of the BJP, MPs Anurag Thakur and Banshuri Swaraj filed a multi-section FIR against Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi with the Delhi Police. Those sections also include the section for attempted murder. An FIR has been filed under Sections 117 (intentionally causing grievous hurt), 125 (endangering persons), 131 (use of criminal force), 351 (offence of threatening), and 3(5) of BNS. However, the Delhi Police later removed Section 109 (attempt to murder) of the Nyay Samhita from the complaints filed by the BJP.
