
BJP has promised to launch the 'Mahila Samriddhi Yojana' if they win the Delhi Assembly elections. On Friday, BJP president JP Nadda announced that if the BJP comes to power in Delhi, women will be given an allowance of Rs 2,500 per month. They will also get free LPG cylinders.
Party president JP Nadda released the party's manifesto in Delhi on Friday. Notable among them is the 'Mahila Samriddhi Yojana,' a special scheme for women. The scheme will be launched in Delhi after coming to power. Women in Delhi will get Rs 2,500 per month.
JP Nadda also said that the project will be passed in the first cabinet meeting after the formation of the BJP government. Not only this, the poor will get a gas cylinder at a cost of only Rs 500, and two cylinders will be given free of cost on Holi and Diwali.
Apart from this, after launching the Ayushman Bharat project, he made it clear, 'If we win the election, our government will start the Ayushman Bharat health insurance in Delhi first to ensure the health of the common people. The people of Delhi are being deprived of the benefits of this project for years because of the AAP government.
The Supreme Court on Friday made it clear that the AAP government in Delhi cannot be forced to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme before the elections. Speaking at the manifesto launch, Nadda said Arvind Kejriwal's party was forcibly alienating people from the rights of the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Nadda also announced financial assistance for pregnant women. He said that Rs 30,000 will be given to pregnant women and Rs 2,500 will be given to elderly people aged 60 to 70 years instead of Rs 2,000. And the elderly will get 3000 rupees. It has also been assured to provide lunch at Rs 5 for slum dwellers through Atal Canteen. Free electricity, water, and free buses for women are also on the list.
