The Assam state government has taken significant action at a time when pollution and deforestation are endangering the ecosystem. Steps have been taken through the "Amrit Vriksha Movement” campaign so that Assam can take the lead in raising awareness about environmental conservation in the world by planting a lot of trees in the state. Now the state is on course to set many world records as a result of its "Amrit Vriksha Movement."

 Between September 9 and 17, Assam planted a record 1 crore saplings across the state as part of an attempt to create a world record. The state government has also made an effort to compile photos taken as proof of the planting of these saplings into the world's largest photo album.

On September 17, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma participated in the planting of saplings as part of the Amrit Vriksha Andolan Abhiyan. Later, the Chief Minister informed reporters about the state-wide "Amrit Vriksha Movement" and the record-breaking number of seedlings planted since September 9.

In addition to planting and preserving 1 crore saplings in the state, he stated, "we are trying to set a world record by uploading this entire plantation process on an online portal.The Amrit Vriksha Movement began on September 9 and ended today. We established a number of world records during this time. way we might obtain the urge to plant trees, not only in Assam but throughout the world.  The results are in front of us even if we haven't heard from the Guinness World Records Authority about them”. On September 9, trees were adorned with a 22 km long spiral arrangement  made of saplings.
