From September 20 to November 23, the chief minister of Rajasthan convened 17 times for election purposes. Aside from that, Sarma had gone to eight Telangana election gatherings, where the BJP had gone from having one to nine representatives.

Sarma posted a message on X “The recent state elections were like pilgrimages for me. It was the first time in my political career that I had travelled extensively outside of the Northeast region and addressed 79 meetings and a few road shows. I feel a sense of rebirth as a proud BJP Karyakarta.”
