

Seeing the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is the much-awaited historic event. On January 22, 2024, a number of prominent individuals from Bollywood and Indian cinema are expected to grace the auspicious occasion, confirming the holy significance of this historic occasion.
Actors from South India like Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Yash, and Rishab Shetty have also received formal invitations to attend the historic day in Ayodhya.
Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sunny Deol, Tiger Shroff, Rajkumar Hirani, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ajay Devgn, and Madhur Bhandarkar are among those invited. The actors who portrayed Lord Ram and Sita in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, Arun Govil and Deepika Chiklia, have also been invited.
Prominent invitees include spiritual icons such as Mata Amritanandamayi, Dalai Lama, and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. It’s also expected that industrialists Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Ratan Tata will also be present.
Cricket legends Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar have been invited, among others.
Sonia Gandhi is apparently the lone invitee from the Congress family. Members of Parliament Digvijaya Singh and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, as well as former Prime ministers Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda, have also been invited.
Four thousand saints from different sects have been invited by the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust to participate in this auspicious function. The trust plans to host between 10,000 and 15,000 people during the event. Three idols, one from Rajasthan and two from Karnataka, are competing to be placed in the inner chamber of the shrine. The consecration ritual on January 22, 2024, will take place once the best idol out of the three is chosen.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi performs the "pran pratishtha," commonly known as the consecration ritual of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22, the temple, which spans over 70 acres, will be open to the public.
