Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal. During his two-day visit to Bengal, he is scheduled to attend three programmes, including a visit to Tarakeswar. According to sources, the Prime Minister’s itinerary for his state visit has now been finalised. The Prime Minister will take part in the International Yoga Day programme at Red Road and will also inaugurate warships from Garden Reach.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in West Bengal on a two-day visit on June 20 and 21. On June 20, after completing his programme in Odisha, the Prime Minister will reach Kalaikunda. From Kalaikunda, he will travel by helicopter to Tarakeswar. In Tarakeswar, the Prime Minister will attend a programme for about one and a half hours, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On June 20, West Bengal Day will be celebrated in a grand manner in Bengal. On the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in the state and address a public meeting in Tarakeswar. From this meeting, the Prime Minister may make a series of announcements for Bengal. The BJP is in power in Bengal, and there is a double-engine government in the state. The people of Bengal are now expected to receive the benefits of several central schemes. From the Tarakeswar stage, the Prime Minister may personally announce what the central government plans to do for Bengal’s development.

Modi had earlier attended the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government in West Bengal at the Brigade Parade Ground. Now, within one and a half months, he is visiting again. His visit will be for two days. On the first day, June 20, West Bengal Day will be observed. On the second day, June 21, the Prime Minister will take part in the International Yoga Day programme at Red Road in Kolkata. The BJP has also held a preparatory meeting regarding the West Bengal Day programme. On that day, along with the party’s central leaders in charge of the state, all state leaders will also be present in Tarakeswar. All MLAs and MPs of the state have been asked to attend the West Bengal Day programme.

After returning from Red Road to Lok Bhavan, the Prime Minister will again go to Garden Reach. From Garden Reach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate three warships. After the Garden Reach programme, he will travel by helicopter from the Racecourse directly to Kolkata airport. From Kolkata airport, he will leave for Delhi by a special aircraft.
