In a forceful address to the nation following Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to Pakistan, declaring that India’s response to terrorism will be firm and uncompromising. The speech came after Indian forces carried out targeted strikes on terror hubs in Bahawalpur and Muridke, which Modi described as the “universities of terror.”

The Prime Minister emphasized that the operation, which resulted in the elimination of over 100 terrorist targets, was a direct answer to Pakistan’s continued support for cross-border terrorism. He highlighted the symbolic and strategic significance of the strikes, stating, “Pakistan tried to remove the Sindoor of our women, we uprooted their universities of terror.”

Dedicating the mission’s success to the strength of Indian women—referred to as Nari Shakti—Modi paid tribute to the countless women and children who have lost loved ones in terrorist attacks. He said the operation was not only about military might but also about restoring the dignity of those who have suffered due to terrorism.

Modi took aim at Pakistan’s military establishment, portraying it as weakened and exposed in contrast to India’s robust and disciplined armed forces. He asserted that Pakistan, having faced the consequences of India’s military response, had no choice but to seek peace.

While a ceasefire is in place, Modi made it clear that India’s campaign against terrorism is far from over. “Every inch of land where terror is encouraged by Pakistan is within the reach of our Armed Forces,” he declared, underscoring India’s readiness to act again if provoked.

Rejecting any notion of nuclear intimidation, Modi insisted that India will not bow to nuclear blackmail. He drew no distinction between terrorists and their patrons, asserting that both will face the consequences of their actions—no matter their location.

Modi’s speech marked a decisive shift in India’s counter-terrorism approach—assertive, uncompromising, and firmly rooted in safeguarding national security.
