PM Narendra Modi will meditate at the Rock Memorial and Dhyan Mandapam in Kanyakumari, continuing the practice of visiting Hindu holy sites following the election campaign. This is consistent with his Viksit Bharat campaign theme, which was inspired by Swami Vivekananda's vision of a developed India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Kanyakumari from May 30 to June 1. During his journey, he would pay respects at the Rock Memorial and meditate at the Dhyan Mandapam, where Swami Vivekananda previously meditated. Following the final stage of his election campaign, his visit to Kanyakumari will be purely spiritual, with no political events.

Swami Vivekananda had a vision of Bharat Mata in Kanyakumari, which changed his life forever. Many feel that this rock, similar to Sarnath for Gautam Buddha, carries unique significance in Swami Vivekananda's life. Swami Vivekananda meditated for three days at this location, today called Dhyan Mandapam. This area is not only historical, but also significant in Hindu mythology. Goddess Parvati is said to have meditated at this location while awaiting Lord Shiva. Kanyakumari is India's southernmost point, and it connects the country's eastern and western coasts. It is also where the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Arabian Sea meet, making it a unique geographical site. Following the conclusion of electoral campaigns, the Prime Minister frequently embarks on spiritual journeys. He traveled to Shivaji's Pratapgarh in 2014 and Kedarnath in 2019.

Phase 7 of the Lok Sabha elections will take place on June 1.

The next and final phase (Phase 7) of voting is slated for June 1 in 57 parliamentary districts throughout eight states and union territories. PM Modi is also running against Ajay Rai of the Congress party from Varanasi. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
