Sachin Tendulkar amassed 34,357 runs in 664 international games, an average of 48.52, with 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries to his credit. He is the only cricketer in history to have centuries.

Sachin's first IPL half-century came in a thriller at his home stadium of Wankhede. In a 190-run chase against Kings XI Punjab, the right-hander single-handedly kept Mumbai Indians in the game when other batters failed to score big. MI eventually lost the game by one run, despite Tendulkar's dominant 65.

The right-hander demonstrated his class by scoring at a strike rate of nearly 200 despite failing to hit any sixes. His 63 laid the groundwork for MI to reach a huge 218 that the Delhi side couldn't match.Tendulkar was awarded Player of the Match in recognition of his performance.

Fresh off his 2011 World Cup-winning performance for India, continued his good form and scored his first IPL hundred. In their maiden season, KTK faced Sachin, who hit 12 fours and three sixes to reach 100 not out off 66 balls. The Master Blaster hit his century on the final ball of the innings, bringing MI to 182/2. However, the total was insufficient, and KTK won by eight wickets with one over remaining.

74 (44) vs Chennai Super Kings, 2012.

Tendulkar had hit a magnificent 74 when he fell for the second wicket, putting MI on top. He had again depended on timing, hitting 11 fours and just one six. However, the legend's wicket halted the chase, and MI lost their lead. With 16 runs needed in the last over, Dwayne Smith hit three boundaries off the last three balls to lead MI to victory over their now arch-rivals CSK.
