Maruti Suzuki announced on Friday that it's recalling 11,851 Baleno and 4,190 WagonR cars made between July 30, 2019, and November 1, 2019. They suspect a possible problem with the Fuel Pump Motor, which could cause the engine to stall or have trouble starting. The company will contact owners the of the affected vehicles soon.

Maruti Suzuki assured that they would replace the defective part free of charge at authorized dealer workshops. This move aims to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their customers.

In February, Maruti Suzuki witnessed a 15% increase in total wholesales compared to the same period last year. They sold a total of 197,471 units, up from 172,321 units in February 2023.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales also saw growth, rising by 9% to 160,271 units from 147,467 units in the previous year. Maruti Suzuki remains committed to maintaining high-quality standards and customer service.
