Bantwal and Beltangady taluk experienced particularly heavy rains. Other areas received either moderate rainfall or light sprinkles.
Rural areas faced electricity cuts due to heavy rain leading to waterlogging and traffic jams on BC Road, along with Bantwal and multiple areas. Other parts of the area were submerged in water.
