Bengaluru rave party raided by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) team of Karnataka police has once again turned a spotlight on Tollywood as social media users highlighted the presence of Telugu actors at the so-called birthday party. The Telugu film industry is brought into focus whenever a rave party is busted in Southern States.

Lankalapalli Vasu is the Mastermind:

The police identified five people as the main accused in connection with this rave party and arrested them and sent them to judicial remand. Police have identified Lankapalli Vasu from Vijayawada as the mastermind of this rave party. Vasu residing in Kothapet area of Vijayawada One Town has maintaining a big network in Andhra. Police believe that the mastermind of this rave party is doing many underground activities; he is supplying drugs through pharma business network. Moreover, the police suspect that he is involved in betting during the cricket and elections.

Cinemawala links to Drug Rocket:

Siddiqui, Randhir and Raj Bhav, who participated in this rave party, were identified by the police as drug peddlers and registered their names in the FIR. More than 100 attendees were from Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru, including over 25 young women. It is reported that some of the Telugu and Kannada film industry, serial actors, and more than 20 models participated in this rave party. DJs, models, actors, and techies were present. The police are investigating further.

‘Untold Story’ of Tollywood Celebs:

Soon after the matter came to light, names of two Telugu actors Hema and Srikanth Meka started doing rounds on social media. Bengaluru police commissioner B. Dayananda said that one actress was found at the party but he did not name anyone.

Meanwhile, both Hema, a supporting artist and Srikanth, a senior actor, denied the reports that they attended the rave party. “Do not believe the news about me attending a rave party in Bengaluru,” she said in a video message. While Srikanth said he was not the kind of person who attends parties.

As per the police statement, Hema and other 85 attendees test positive for drugs after rave party bust. Meanwhile, another actress Ashi Roy also named in the FIR, but she reveals that she was unaware of rave party's intent. 'I thought it was a birthday party’, she reply for media’s question.

Grey Shades of Private Parties…:

The CCB sleuths busted this rave party held at a Bengaluru farmhouse where drugs were seized. The police team seized 17 MDMA pills and cocaine during their raid at the farmhouse. The police officers are interrogating the drug peddlers to know the suppliers of drugs and their customers.

As per reports, the rave party was organized under the pretext of a birthday celebration by Hyderabad and Vijayawada-based person Vasu. More than 101 persons attended the party. The organizer had flown over 25 people from Andhra Pradesh to Bengaluru for the event. The police have arrested three persons immediately after raid done the farmhouse, who have been identified as YM Arunkumar, Raj, KL Vasu, the party organizer and D Nagababu.

Vasu had organized the titled ‘Sunset to Sunrise Victory’ party at the GM Farmhouse in the Singena Agrahara area near Electronics City. It is reported that Vasu is a friend of Gopala Reddy, a realtor, who permitted him to hold a birthday party at his property.
