At times, fate intervenes, and fortune strikes unexpectedly. An unimaginable miracle happens. By the grace of God, a passenger narrowly escaped the disaster in the Ahmedabad plane crash. He is indeed a true survivor...’’Mrutyunjay”.

Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, who astonishingly survived the devastating plane crash, is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. He recounted the harrowing moments of the incident, explaining that his seat was ripped away during the crash, which ultimately contributed to his survival.

“I didn't jump out of the plane. The aircraft shattered shortly after take-off. My seat broke apart, and I was thrown clear, which is why the ensuing fire didn’t reach me,” Vishwas told the doctors as he was treated for his injuries. He sustained multiple injuries in the accident, and while recovering, he shared his experiences with the media.

PM Modi visited Vishwas in the hospital

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vishwas Kumar Ramesh in the hospital and checked on his condition. Medical staff confirmed that Vishwas is not in any critical danger.

Vishwas, who resides in Britain, had returned to Gujarat to visit his family when the incident occurred during his journey home. He was seated in 11-A on the Air India flight that ultimately crashed. After the accident, he was seen staggering through the wreckage, stained with blood, as he made his way to an ambulance—a scene that quickly spread online.

Tragically, 241 passengers aboard the flight lost their lives, making Vishwas the sole survivor.
