The Congress criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comments about their manifesto, saying he's worried about BJP's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. According to them, Modi's remarks about the Congress manifesto having a 'Muslim League imprint' are just a tactic to divert attention from BJP's declining popularity.

During a press conference at the AICC headquarters, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate accused the BJP of losing support and claimed that's why Modi is bringing up the issue of the Muslim League again. She emphasized that the Congress manifesto represents the aspirations of the Indian people and addresses the country's challenges.

Shrinate highlighted the pillars of justice in the Congress manifesto and stated that it reflects the hopes and struggles of millions of Indians. She mentioned the party's efforts to engage with various segments of society, including youth, farmers, women, and workers, to ensure their voices are heard.

According to Shrinate, the Congress manifesto, known as Nyay Patra, offers solutions to the problems created by the Modi government over the past decade. She asserted that the manifesto truly represents the people of India and their concerns.

Shrinate also accused Modi and the BJP of having historical ties to the Muslim League and the British. She alleged that figures like Syama Prasad Mookerjee collaborated with the British and the Muslim League during the Quit India Movement, undermining the independence struggle led by Mahatma Gandhi and Maulana Azad.

In summary, the Congress spokesperson dismissed Modi's remarks as an attempt to deflect attention from BJP's performance and reaffirmed the Congress manifesto's commitment to addressing the needs of the Indian people.
