Centre’s 'Liberation Day' Fete to be chaired by Rajnath Singh
Union defence minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest at the celebrations marking Telangana Liberation Day to be organised by the Central government at Secunderabad's Parade Grounds on September 17. The celebrations will be carried out from 7.30 am to noon. The Narendra Modi government has been hosting the government-organised official event on September 17 over the past two years. The event will be participated by some Union ministers like Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, G. Kishan Reddy, and Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
In addition to the Union ministers, the president of the Telangana unit of the BJP, N Ramchander Rao, the former Maharashtra governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, and former Haryana governor Bandaru Dattatreya and other leaders will attend the celebrations on Liberation Day at the Parade Grounds. As part of the celebrations, a series of cultural events will be held to showcase the rich culture and heritage of the liberation struggle of Telangana.
