NEET UG 2024 paper leak case has become highly controversial across the country. As part of the investigation of the case, the CBI has identified key facts. The CBI found that a total of 144 candidates received the question paper a few hours before the examination. It has been revealed that all of them have paid money to the masterminds of the paper leakage.
The central probe agency has filed the third charge sheet last week. The CBI found that the NEET question paper was leaked by Pankaj Kumar, a few hours before the exam. These question papers were leaked from Oasis School, Hazaribagh in Jharkhand State. Investigation revealed in the charge sheet that the paper came out with the cooperation of the principal and vice principal of the Oasis School.
On May 5, the day of the NEET exam, the question papers reached the school at 8 am. Hasanul Haque, who was the coordinator of the examination centre at that time, sent a civil engineer from IIT Jamshedpur to the strong room where the question paper box was located. He opened the box with the help of a special toolkit. He took a photo of the entire question paper. After that he put it in the box as usual and sealed it.
After coming out of there, the person shared the question paper with another person who was stating in a guesthouse. Around Nine medical students immediately prepared the complete answer key as per the questionnaire. They sent question paper and solved answer key to their gang members in different areas.
The CBI investigation revealed that the question papers and solved answer key sheets were delivered to the candidates who had paid money. Meanwhile, the CBI has prepared a charge sheet of 5500 pages based on the information obtained from 298 witnesses, 290 documents and 45 channels about this paper leakage affair.
