

After assuming charge as the President of the Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shri Sanjay Saraogi, during his visit to New Delhi, today paid a courtesy call on Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and sought his blessings. During the meeting, the two leaders held meaningful discussions on the development of Bihar.
On this occasion, Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi presented the Prime Minister with a momento featuring an image of Punaura Dham, the birthplace of Goddess Janaki, along with a shawl adorned with Madhubani painting. The specially crafted metal momento beautifully depicts Lord Ram, Lakshman, and Goddess Janaki, reflecting Bihar’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister held an extensive discussion on Bihar’s development. In this context, he also discussed makhana, a unique identity of Bihar. Prime Minister Modi held detailed deliberations on the condition and welfare of makhana farmers, their interests, employment opportunities, and value addition, and reiterated the Central Government’s firm commitment to the welfare of makhana cultivators.
In addition, discussions were held on Mithila and the overall development of Bihar, during which the Prime Minister provided valuable guidance. Detailed conversations also took place on welfare-related issues and Mithila painting, highlighting their importance in Bihar’s comprehensive development.
Prime Minister Modi further discussed and guided on strengthening the party organization in Bihar and other key issues related to the state’s overall development. Extensive discussions were held on organizational matters, with the Prime Minister offering guidance to make the organization more strong, active, and people-centric.
The meeting with Prime Minister Modi proved to be important and inspiring for Bihar’s holistic development, the empowerment of farmers, and the strengthening of the BJP organization.
