Union Home Minister Amit Shah came to Bengal in the last weeks of November and December. The Union Home Minister's visit was cancelled at the last minute, even though he was scheduled to come in the last week of January. This time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah Shah is expected to come to Bengal in the last week of February. According to BJP sources, the schedule of the visit was finalized on Sunday. If nothing special happens, Shah will come to Bengal and visit the ISKCON temple in Mayapur on February 29.

According to BJP sources, according to Shah's schedule so far, he may come to Kolkata later than February 28. Stay overnight and leave for Mayapur on the 29th. After visiting the temple, Shah will hold a meeting with the leaders of several Lok Sabha areas, including Ranaghat. During that time, there will be no public assembly as higher secondary examinations are conducted in the state.

From what is known so far, he is scheduled to visit the ISKCON temple around noon. After the meeting, there will be some programmes to return to Kolkata. But it has not been finalized yet. He can also sit in a meeting with the top leadership of the state. In this regard, BJP state president Sukant Majumder said, "It cannot be confirmed so soon about the visit of the Union Home Minister. He promised to be in Bengal on the last day of February. This is not Shah's first visit to ISKCON. He came to this temple in Mayapur at the end of January 2021, before the last assembly elections. After this, BJP All India President JP Nadda visited the ISKCON temple in January 2023. Shah is about to go again.
