

Shivam Dhol Tasha Pathak, a dynamic Indian traditional drum and snare band from Texas, is set to perform at the parade from Capitol Hill to the White House following Donald Trump’s swearing-in as the 47th U.S. president on January 20.
The ensemble will showcase India's rich musical heritage with its energetic beats and vibrant rhythms, captivating millions worldwide during the prestigious event, according to a media release.
This marks a historic moment for the group and the Indian community in Texas and beyond, as it will be the first time an Indian traditional drum band from the state performs on such a global stage.
" Shivam Dhol Tasha Pathak has previously performed at diverse events, ranging from religious festivals to global concerts. Their notable appearances include collaborations with African and Japanese percussionists, NBA and NHL halftime shows, the Howdy Modi event, and the ICC T20 World Cup opening ceremony.
However, performing at the 60th Presidential Inaugural Parade is considered the pinnacle of their achievements.
