Yes, according to International Media reports- Kim ordered the military, including the country’s nuclear programme, to accelerate war preparations to counter what he called as unprecedented confrontational moves by the United States. The President hosted an expensive year-end meeting with his party leaders and military officials to gather the country’s elite personalities. North Korea’s high-level meeting added a spark to already simmering tensions between North & South Korea.

Ongoing Russia-Ukraine tensions do not appear to be easing in the near future. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is escalating too. Yemen's Houthi rebels have launched an offensive attack in support of the Palestinians. At this moment, North Korea is threatening the world with its war preparations.
