
'Salaar-Ceasefire ' is a film that has made Rebel star Prabhas fans jump up high after a long time as the movie created new records at box offices of India & Abroad. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the first part of the sequel (two-part film) starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles was released on December 22. Mass action, which was expected from Prabhas fans, was seen in this film, which rained collections at the box office.
‘Salaar’ collected Rs 178.7 crore on the first day of its release. Despite completing the first weekend, it has made another record by collecting Rs 402 crore gross. In the first week collections crosses Rs 550 crores and Rs 660 crore in the second week. Within the three weeks, the film has already crossed the Rs 700 crore-mark. This box office bonanza movie has made a pre-release business of Rs 345 crore worldwide. With this, Prabhas has set a new record. And, it achieved the break-even. Prabhas has two films that have crossed the Rs 700 crore-mark. Earlier it was Baahubali 2 and now it is Salaar-Ceasefire (Part 1). Rebel Star is the only South Indian actor to have crossed the Rs 700 crore-mark twice.
